| Lindsay Lohan - I Worked My Ass Off At The Morgue Posted: 22 Oct 2011 01:00 AM PDT Filed under: Lindsay Lohan, Celebrity Justice  Lindsay Lohan didn't want to be a stiff during her first day at the morgue ...so she went in and washed soiled linens, scrubbed toilets and seemed to enjoy her time with the other volunteers ... sources tell TMZ. We're told LiLo said she felt "terrible" about showing up late and being such a distraction on Thursday, so she went to bed early to avoid a repeat performance. Lindsay, we're told, didn't act like a spoiled brat. Like so many of her friends, she got down on her hands and knees .... and cleaned floors. She even socialized with some of the other volunteers. As for the whole burger and cupcake thing ... Lindsay told friends she wasn't trying to bribe anyone ... but the gesture was just another way to show the staff how sorry she was for being late the day before. |

Posted: 22 Oct 2011 12:55 AM PDT Filed under: Pageantry, Celebrity Justice  Mrs. America doesn't give it up for free ... even to bigshot TV producers ... and now the company behind the pageant is going after a network that aired the competition without paying up ... this according to a new lawsuit. The Mrs. America pageant (it's like Miss America without the oral sex ... just KIDDING!) ... claims it had a deal with My Family TV to bank 50% of all ad revenue on the broadcast of the 2011 contest. Mrs. America claims My Family TV had 60 days to pay up after the May 8th broadcast -- which featured Florence Henderson BTW -- but the network has flaked out in a big way. Now, Mrs. America is demanding their money -- more than $50,000. So far, no comment from My Family TV. |

| 'Hannah Montana' Star Charged with DUI -- Facing Jailtime Posted: 22 Oct 2011 12:40 AM PDT Filed under: Mitchel Musso, Celebrity Justice  Mitchel Musso -- who starred alongside Miley Cyrus on "Hannah Montana" -- has been charged with 2 counts of drunk driving stemming from his arrest in Burbank, CA earlier this week ... and he could wind up behind bars. Law enforcement sources tells TMZ ... the Burbank City Attorney has charged Musso with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher -- both misdemeanors. If convicted on both counts, 20-year-old Musso faces a maximum of 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine. TMZ broke the story ... Musso was pulled over at 3:43 AM Sunday ... after he allegedly failed to slow down for cops who were directing traffic for an unrelated accident. Cops suspected he was hammered and placed him under arrest. The actor is due back in court on Nov. 11. |

| 'American Hoggers' -- Under Attack for Ultra-Violent Pig Slaughter Posted: 22 Oct 2011 12:30 AM PDT  The gun-toting family on A&E's new reality show "American Hoggers" are under fire from an animal rights group for the gruesome way the pigs are "tied up and shot" on the show ... TMZ has learned. In case you haven't seen it -- "American Hoggers" follows Jerry "Hog Boss" Campbell ... and his family as they hunt and kill feral pigs ... armed with hunting dogs and guns. It's pretty graphic ... even for A&E. The show just premiered this week -- and it didn't take long for PETA to take notice. In fact, the animal rights org. has just released a statement saying, "the Campbells' show promotes cruel animal-control measures and gross mistreatment of wildlife." PETA claims it acknowledges that feral pigs can be problematic in parts of Texas, but the group says, "If property owners insist on lethal control, then feral hogs should be cage-trapped and afforded a quick, painless death." She has written a prologue -- which we have seen -- and she is trying to shop it around to literary agents. -- "If and when that happens, her book would certainly show the utmost compassion for her children." County Morgue today ... insisting the gesture was simply to say, "I'm sorry." Lohan's rep tells TMZ, "Lindsay asked her assistant to pick up lunches from the In-And-Out in Huntington Park around 10:30 a.m. Around 11:00 a.m., her assistant returned with the lunches and brought them into the administrative trailer and set the food on a table for the volunteers to eat on their break." The rep added, "Reports that Lindsay had lunches brought in for the other volunteers are completely accurate despite any claims to the contrary." "Additionally, Lindsay ordered cupcakes for the staff and volunteers. When they were delivered, morgue supervisors would not let them into the building." "It is unfortunate that Lindsay's well-intentioned actions were not taken in the spirit in which she intended; to say she was sorry for yesterday's misunderstanding." He said, "I would like to pray for the prosecutor, his associates, and his expert witness." Sadly, the photog didn't ask why Murray was praying for them ... whether it's because he prays for everyone, be they friend or foe -- or whether he's praying because he believes they are portraying him unfairly/unethically before the jury. |
| Lindsay Lohan -- Cupcake Cop Turns Away 36 Sweets for Lindsay Posted: 21 Oct 2011 11:00 AM PDT Filed under: Lindsay Lohan, Exclusive, Famous Food  The L.A. County Coroner just turned away a dude who was delivering 36 fancy cupcakes to Lindsay Lohan and 35 of her closest friends at the morgue. We found out about it and called Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter to inquire, and he said, "WHAT!" -- and then went to the front door and turned the delivery guy away (see video below). Winter told TMZ, "It's unacceptable. We're not here to accept food," adding there are not 36 people in Lindsay's program, so some of the cupcakes were apparently earmarked for the Coroner's staff. We found out the order was placed this morning at the fancy, Magnolia Bakery by someone Lindsay knows. The bakery owner would not tell TMZ whether the order was placed at Lindsay's behest, but Winter told TMZ he spoke with Lindsay and she said she had nothing to do with the order.  |
